Anita Campbell, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Stiles Eyecare Excellence, serving patients in Overland Park. Dr. Campbell specializes in cataract and glaucoma treatment.
Dr. Campbell is originally from Lenexa, KS and attended Shawnee Mission South High School. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency in 2014. She pursued an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Dr. Campbell is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Glaucoma Society.
She practiced at Grene Vision Group in Wichita, KS for eight years. As one of the few glaucoma specialists in western Kansas, she treated all stages of cataracts and glaucoma, including very complex glaucoma cases. She continues to serve western Kansas through satellite clinics. She speaks English, Spanish, and Hindi.
She has participated in numerous clinical research initiatives that have resulted in published articles and presentations at national and international conferences. She looks forward to pursuing further research at SEE. Dr. Campbell returned to Kansas City for her small children to grow up with their extended family. She and her husband, Cody, reside in Leawood, KS with their two children: Amaya and Noah. She enjoys cheering for the KC Chiefs, crafting and spending time with family.
